Starbucks has opened a new drive-through store in the One Six Roads district of St Philip, Barbados, in collaboration with its operating licensee, Caribbean Coffee Baristas (Barbados).

It is the seventh café and fourth drive-through store for the brand on the island, highlighting ongoing expansion efforts in the region.

The 1,940ft² outlet is situated in a newly developed shopping centre and designed under the Greener Stores Framework, underscoring Starbucks' commitment to environmental sustainability.

The store incorporates sustainable features such as 100% LED lighting, filters and low-flow plumbing fixtures to reduce water consumption by 30% and enhance energy efficiency. It promotes waste diversion through its Grounds for Your Garden programme, and will create 12 job opportunities for store partners.

Caribbean Coffee Baristas (Barbados) regional director Roxanne Dixon stated: “We are committed to finding new ways to enrich the Starbucks experience, while delivering high-quality coffee that brings people together.

“This new store reinforces our dedication to customers, as we continue to offer convenient ways to enjoy Starbucks. We’re excited to serve this community and look forward to bringing more job opportunities to St. Philip.”

The store will operate from 7:00am to 8:00pm from Monday to Saturday, and 8:00am to 8:00 pm on Sunday.

Starbucks has also opened in Coverley by partnering with Caribbean Coffee Baristas (Barbados).

In March 2025, it announced the opening of drive-through locations in Peru and Barbados.
