Brazilian‑American steakhouse Texas de Brazil has opened a new location at Woodland Mall, Grand Rapids, in the US state of Michigan.

The Woodland Mall location is in the shopping centre’s dining and entertainment area and is the brand’s first restaurant in West Michigan.

The new site offers the churrascaria’s rodizio‑style service, with a continuous rotation of flame‑grilled meats carved tableside.

Menu items include filet mignon, lamb chops, Brazilian sausage and picanha.

The restaurant also features a salad area with more than 50 seasonal items, including fresh vegetables, artisan breads, charcuterie, imported cheeses and house‑made soups.

Texas de Brazil president Salim Asrawi stated: “We are excited to bring our authentic Brazilian-inspired dining experience to Grand Rapids.

"Woodland Mall is the perfect setting for our first location in the area, and we look forward to welcoming the community with the warm hospitality and flavors that define our brand."

In early September 2025, Texas de Brazil Churrascaria launched its first Guyana outlet in Georgetown.

The restaurant is housed in MovieTowne Mall, a key retail and dining hub in the city.

The opening was carried out in partnership with the Dachin Group. The two organisations previously collaborated in 2011 to introduce a Texas de Brazil Churrascaria in Trinidad.

In September 2024, Texas de Brazil expanded its presence in the US with the opening of a new location in Cincinnati, Ohio.

Located in the Kenwood Collection shopping centre, it represents the company’s entry into the Cincinnati market.
