US-headquartered restaurant technology company SpotOn has partnered with peer company Popmenu to help operators grow revenue while simplifying daily operations.

The collaboration will enable restaurants to use Popmenu’s digital tools, along with SpotOn’s unified commerce platform.

This includes integrating Popmenu’s technology with SpotOn’s point-of-sale (POS) system.

According to a statement by Popmenu, the connection is intended to reduce operational friction, enable data to move continuously between the two systems, and give operators a more complete view of activity from online engagement through to in-store orders and payments.

SpotOn chief product officer Bryan Solar said: “Restaurants win when great growth tools are matched with ordering and payment solutions that are fast, reliable, and easy for guests.

“By bringing SpotOn and Popmenu together, we’re helping operators drive more revenue, run smarter day-to-day, and most importantly convert better data into valuable, lasting guest relationships.”

According to Popmenu, the integration can lead to higher online sales, improve order accuracy and create a more streamlined checkout process. It also allows operators to update menus, pricing, and item availability in real time across all locations.

For Popmenu, the agreement also adds to its range of direct integrations with restaurant technology providers.

Earlier this year, SpotOn partnered with Loman AI, a voice AI phone-answering platform for restaurants.

The deal enabled SpotOn POS users to roll out AI-powered phone automation.
