Database and Network Administrators and Architects Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Asia-Pacific with a share of 44% in November 2022, a 15.38% drop over the previous month. Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers came in next, claiming a share of 26.67% in November 2022, marking a 66.1% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Computer and Information Analysts with a share of 14.67% in November 2022, a 266.67% rise from October 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 36.97% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Asia-Pacific’s food service industry during November 2022 over previous month.
AmRest Holdings posted 50 IT jobs in November 2022 and registered a decline of 10.71% over the previous month, followed by Meyer Jabara Hotels with 22 jobs and a flat growth. Minor International with 1 IT job and Delivery Hero with 1 jobs, recorded a 75% drop and a 98.31% drop, respectively, while HelloFresh recorded a flat growth with 1 job postings during November 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Asia-Pacific’s food service industry
India commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 46.67% share in November 2022, a 16.67% increase over October 2022. Macao (China SAR) featured next with an 18.67% share, down 22.22% over the previous month. Philippines recorded a 9.33% share, a flat growth compared with October 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in November 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 61.33%, down by 24.59% from October 2022. Entry Level positions with a 37.33% share, registered a decline of 42.86% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.33% share, down 90.91% over October 2022.
