Software and Web Developers, Programmers, and Testers Occupations emerged as the leading IT occupation in Europe with a share of 26.32% in June 2022, a 72.22% drop over the previous month. Database and Network Administrators and Architects came in next, claiming a share of 24.56% in June 2022, marking a 71.43% month-on-month decline. In the third place was Miscellaneous Computer Occupations with a share of 22.81% in June 2022, a 23.53% drop from May 2022.

The top five companies, in terms of number of jobs as tracked by GlobalData, accounted for a combined average decline of 70.63% in the overall IT recruitment activity of Europe’s food service industry during June 2022 over previous month.
HelloFresh posted 13 IT jobs in June 2022 and registered an increase of 18.18% over the previous month, followed by Greene King with 12 jobs and a 20% growth. Delivery Hero with 8 IT jobs and AmRest Holdings with 6 jobs, recorded a 66.67% drop and a 93.75% drop, respectively, while Kingston Hospital NHS Trust Dining Services recorded a 50% increase with 3 job postings during June 2022.
Country-wise composition of IT hiring in Europe’s food service industry
The UK commanded a leading presence in the region’s food service industry IT hiring activity with a 45.61% share in June 2022, a 10.34% decrease over May 2022. Germany featured next with a 29.82% share, down 46.88% over the previous month. Hungary recorded a 10.53% share, a flat growth compared with May 2022.
Junior Level job postings dominate in June 2022
Junior Level jobs held a share of 66.67%, down by 63.46% from May 2022. Entry Level positions with a 31.58% share, registered a decline of 71.43% compared with the previous month.
In the third place was Mid Level job ads with a 1.75% share, flat growth over May 2022.
