US-based ice cream speciality chain Baskin-Robbins has returned to Alberta, Canada after seven years with the opening of a new outlet in Calgary’s Southcentre Mall at the crossroads of Macleod Trail and Anderson Road.

The opening followed a franchise development agreement with real estate and franchise operator McMaster Group Holdings, signed in August 2022, to expand in Canada with 25 new shops in the Vancouver and Calgary markets.

The new shop is the sixth to open under the partnership between Baskin-Robbins and McMaster Group Holdings.

The new Baskin-Robbins shop features an updated design aesthetic. Its interior has a bright and welcoming atmosphere, complemented by flexible and comfortable seating options.

Animated digital menu boards add a modern touch, while the cake display, The Cakery, showcases customised cakes and pre-packed offerings.

Adel Ashry, the franchisee of the new establishment and head of McMaster Group Holdings, brings more than two decades of expertise in franchise development to the table.
