American restaurant chain Bojangles has brought the Bojangler fish sandwich back to its menu with a new deluxe version.

Customers can now choose between two variations of the seasonal offering for Lent 2025.

The Bojangler fish sandwich comprises a panko-breaded Alaskan Pollock filet seasoned with Bo’s famous seasoning, topped with American cheese and served on a toasted bun with Duke’s Tartar Sauce.

The new Bojangler deluxe also features Bo Sauce, shredded lettuce, sliced tomato, and pickles.

Bojangles menu and culinary innovation vice-president Marshall Scarborough stated: “We’re stepping up our fish sandwich game by introducing the new Bojangler Deluxe. Our fans expect big flavour when they come to Bojangles, and this sandwich really brings it. You can’t go wrong combining Bo Sauce and fresh produce with a Bo-seasoned crispy fish filet.”

Bojangles has recreated a viral moment from the US National Whitewater Center’s Build Your Own Boat competition to mark its return.

The brand partnered with a team who built a Bojangles-themed vessel, taking it through the drive-through to pick up a Bojangler fish sandwich.

Both versions of the sandwich are available à la carte or as a combo, paired with a side and a drink, including legendary iced tea or other options.

The seasonal item is available for a limited time at participating Bojangles locations. Customers can also order through the app.

In August 2024, Bojangles introduced new chicken wings with house-made ranch dressing to celebrate the football season.

The crispy marinated wings were seasoned with Bo’s Seasoning in Creamy Buffalo, BBQ or Classic flavours.
