American fast casual chain Chipotle Mexican Grill is set to deploy Zenput’s mobile platform across its 2,450 restaurants to enhance customer experience.
The restaurant chain will use the technology to maintain standards, procedures and initiatives at every location. Chipotle will also use it to support auditing processes such as daily restaurant checks and monthly restaurant performance evaluations.
Chipotle chief restaurant officer Scott Boatwright said: “Our ability to deliver a consistent guest experience in all our restaurants is a direct function of how closely our employees follow our standards and processes.
“Zenput gives our field leaders clear visibility into restaurant operations and trends so they can focus their coaching efforts and improve overall accountability.”
The Zenput platform will support new menu introductions of the fast casual chain. The restaurant chain recently used Zenput to relaunch its limited-time menu item, chorizo.
Zenput CEO Vladik Rikhter said: “Restaurant operators invest heavily in operating procedures and planning key initiatives but rolling them out and ensuring compliance is non-trivial.
“Our work with Chipotle is another example of how industry leading brands are leveraging our mobile technology to see inside and improve the operations of every location to exceed customer expectations.”
Chipotle currently operates more than 2,450 restaurants in the US, Canada, the UK, France and Germany. It has over 70,000 employees to serve customers across its locations.
Zenput assists restaurant operators to evaluate and track all aspects of the restaurant as well as ensure food safety protocols.
