US-based restaurant company Dave & Buster’s has signed franchise agreements to open 20 locations across India and Australia.

The company will partner with the Malpani Group to open 15 locations in India.

It will also partner with NightOwl Entertainment Group to open five stores in Australia.

Dave & Buster’s chief international development officer Antonio Bautista said: “We’re thrilled to partner with the Malpani Group to bring the Dave & Buster’s experience to the Indian consumer, as India’s vibrant economy has ranked the country in the top five globally.

Dave & Buster’s said that each new location will offer a full menu of entrées, appetisers, alcoholic drinks and soft drinks.

The locations will also feature a wide array of entertainment attractions centred around playing games and watching live sports and other televised events.

The multi-store franchise agreements are part of the company’s plan to strengthen its position in the Asia-Pacific (APAC) and MEA regions.
