Fast food restaurant company Del Taco Restaurants has collaborated with Postmates to bring Mexican and American favorites directly to customer’s door.

US-based Postmates is a logistics firm which operates a network of couriers who deliver goods locally.

Through the partnership, Del Taco seeks to provide fast delivery from its participating corporate and franchise restaurants to wherever the customer wants.

The company is offering guests to save $5 on delivery orders of $20 or more from Postmates between 16 September to 22 September.

Del Taco chief marketing officer Barry Westrum said: “With Postmates’ popularity and reach throughout key Del Taco markets, such as Southern California, we know even more fans will be able to enjoy their Del Taco favorites delivered straight to their doorstep, wherever they are and whenever they want.”

Del Taco, which was established in 1964, offers a variety of both Mexican and American favorites including burritos and fries, prepared fresh in every restaurant’s working kitchen.

The company serves over three million guests every week at it has more than 580 restaurants across 14 states in the US.

Postmates SVP of merchant lead Dan Mosher said: “By partnering with Del Taco, we are bringing convenience to their customers and continuing to strengthen our position of offering the most choice of all the delivery platforms nationally.”

Postmates currently operates in more than 3,500 cities across the US and Mexico, providing access to over 500,000 merchants.
