US-based pizza restaurant chain Donatos has announced its Texas expansion, with plans to open 20 new restaurants in the Dallas-Fort Worth (DFW) area.
The expansion is facilitated by four franchise groups strategically positioned throughout the region.

These groups are set to spearhead the initial establishment of Donatos Pizza in the area, introducing the chain’s premium pizzas, subs, salads and wings.
Donatos Pizza franchise development vice-president Jeff Baldwin said: “We are excited to bring Donatos to the vibrant state of Texas, beginning with the Dallas-Fort Worth area. Our expansion is not just about introducing a new premium pizza; it is about creating a lasting connection with the community and giving back.

Donatos Pizza is seeking additional development opportunities, with several territories across the state still available for potential franchise partners.
With DFW’s growing population and size, the company sees the potential to open more than 50 outlets in the region.
In November 2023, the pizza restaurant chain signed two new development deals to introduce the brand to Louisville, Kentucky, and further expand its presence in Orlando, Florida.
The Louisville expansion will see two new restaurants in Middletown and Jeffersontown, with the first location set to open in 2024 and the second at a later stage.
