Cloud-based point-of-sale (POS) provider Epos Now has entered exclusive integration with the Hopt mobile platform to streamline the customer experience for restaurants.

With this integration, Epos Now allows customers to browse a restaurant’s menu, place an order and pay using their mobile phones.

It will enable to sync customer orders instantly to the kitchen and allows restaurants to manage profit and loss by accessing order transactional data available in the back office.

Not only does the integration remove zero value stock items automatically from the menu list to prevent customers from ordering unavailable items, but it allows Hopt orders to sync directly through to Epos Now’s Kitchen Display System, updates product and stock changes made by customers.

In March, Epos Now partnered with TableUp to enable its customers to use TableUp’s software to process dine-in, takeout and delivery orders online.

The company also has signed a strategic partnership with UK-based online food delivery company Deliveroo to enhance food delivery services.
