Firebirds Wood Fired Grill has collaborated with door-to-door delivery service provider DoorDash to offer on-demand delivery across 51 restaurants in the US.

Prior to this, a pilot programme tested by the companies in selected markets received widespread positive responses.

DoorDash business development vice-president Toby Espinosa said: “Firebirds is a community staple across all of its locations nationwide and we’re excited to be chosen as their partner to bring authentic wood-fired specialities and signature dishes to the homes of customers nationwide.”

As part of the partnership, Firebirds’ signature dishes will be delivered to guests.

Those who are based near selected locations will also be able to order from the restaurants’ seasonal feature menus year-round.

Firebirds Wood Fired Grill CEO Mark Eason said: “Delivery is a fast-growing part of the food industry. We are excited to introduce this aspect to our guests.

“If they are unable to come into our restaurant, we want to provide our food to them in the convenience of their home and at the same level of quality as in our restaurants.”

Founded in 2013, the technology company DoorDash connects customers with their favourite local and national businesses in more than 4,000 cities and all 50 states across the US, Canada and Australia.

Last month, Ordermark signed an agreement with DoorDash to offer optimised on-demand delivery solutions to its customers.

Ordermark agreed to integrate DoorDash Drive delivery solutions into its platform to enable its restaurants to benefit from the integrated services.

In September, Bloomin’ Brands partnered with DoorDash to support its delivery platform.
