Leveraging artificial intelligence (AI), machine learning, computer vision and data analytics, Miso’s Flippy 2 has been designed to automate back-of-house fry stations, while Sippy is used for beverage preparations.

With this automation initiative, the fast-food restaurant chain aims to maximise efficiency and deliver a better customer experience, as well as gauge the benefits of a connected kitchen.
Based in San Diego, California, Jack in the Box operates and franchises more than 2,200 restaurants in 21 US states and Guam.
Earlier this month, Panera Bread tested Miso Robotics’ new automated coffee brewing system, called CookRight Coffee.
