American pizza restaurant chain Papa Johns has launched its latest menu platform, the Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni, offering consumers new ways to enjoy pepperoni.

The new platform includes the NY Style Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni Pizza, a more flavourful take on the classic pepperoni pizza with its cupping pepperoni, tomato sauce and extra-large NY-style slices.

The Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni Papadia is a flatbread-style sandwich. There are also new Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni Papa Bites.

The platform features a blend of new cupping pepperoni and classic pepperoni with mozzarella and a garlic parmesan drizzle, encased in fresh – never frozen – original dough.

Papa Johns menu strategy and product senior vice-president Kimberly Bean said: “We’re always looking for fresh ways to show up for pizza lovers and what better way to honour their pizza devotion than a lineup of cupping pepperoni menu items like no other. The Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni platform is dedicated to all pepperoni fans – as we know they crave pepperoni in new and unexpected ways.

Available from 25 March 2024 for Papa Rewards loyalty members and from 1 April for all customers, the Crispy Cuppy ‘Roni items are priced at $13.99, $6.99 and $4.99 respectively.

This introduction builds on Papa Johns’ release of the Cheesy Calzone Epic Stuffed Crust pizza in December 2023, adding to stuffed crust options which already include pepperoni and garlic varieties.
