US-based restaurant management technology firm Toast has integrated its platform with global food and beverage inventory management and ordering system BevSpot.

Toast has made this decision in a move to offer sales performance insights to restaurants and bars to help them make profitable decisions.

The integration combines item-level point-of-sale (POS) data from Toast with BevSpot’s inventory and ordering details, eliminating the need for spreadsheets, uploads and exports.

The integration will allow members of the Toast platform such as Bar Mezzana to leverage BevSpot’s kitchen and bar solutions inventory tracking, smart ordering, record-keeping and sales performance insights.

“BevSpot’s seamless integration simplifies inventory management and will empower us to focus on delivering the best dining experience.”

Bar Mezzana general manager Heather Lynch said: “Toast simplifies our operations by combining POS, front of house, back of house, and guest-facing technology on a single restaurant management platform.

“BevSpot’s seamless integration through the Toast API Partner Programme simplifies inventory management and will empower us to focus on delivering the best dining experience possible versus spending extra time reconciling back-end data.”

Established in 2013, Toast was named as the third fastest-growing technology company on the Deloitte Fast 500 in North America.

BevSpot offers online technology solutions for the global food and beverage industry enabling customers to control their business operations.
