US-based foodservice equipment and supplies distributor Singer Equipment has purchased contract company EVI.
Based in the US, equipment dealership company EVI serves multi-unit restaurants and independent food groups and offers services in the greater Baltimore – DC market.

According to Singer Equipment president and CEO Fred Singer, the deal allows the company to serve more customers and adds approximately 40 EVI employees in the region.
In a statement, Singer said: “EVI also has a strong reputation with national restaurant chains and we look forward to growing our presence in this important customer segment.
“We will continue to build our business so that we can bring you a more complete solution, both geographically and in terms of the services we offer.
