Under the contract, the company will provide food services at TfL sites throughout the London Underground network.

The company has been serving TfL for more than 25 years. Following a competitive tender, Sodexo was selected for the contract.

Sodexo will take on the management of staff restaurants and out-of-hours requests at 26 TfL sites.

The company will base its catering services and menu offering on customer insight, high street trends, and London-centric eating habits.

Sodexo UK and Ireland, Government and Agencies CEO Paul Anstey said: “Our partnership with TfL is very important to us. We have been delivering food services for their consumers for 25 years and we are proud to continue providing that service for them.

“We are looking forward to continuing to drive innovation in the catering services we deliver and to support their strategy to keep the city moving.”

In August, Sodexo extended its catering contract with the City, University of London.

In July, Independents by Sodexo secured a catering and cleaning services contract from The King’s School in Worcester in the UK.

As part of its third Public Service Pledge, the company aims to continue to remain committed to its customers, employees, and communities by increasing waste recycling and reducing the use of sugar in its menus and more.
