Quick-service pizza franchise Stoner’s Pizza Joint has accelerated its franchise development efforts with the opening of a restaurant in Atlanta, Georgia, US.
Situated at 120 Piedmont Ave NE, the outlet represents the brand’s first location in Atlanta, which is owned and operated by the Chunara Food Group.
The Chunara Food Group is a multi-unit operator with over 70 locations across the US.
It owns and operates brands, including TGIFriday, Popeyes, Churches Chicken and Dunkin Donuts.
Chunara Food Group vice-president Shezaan Chunara said: “We are excited to bring our operational experience and background to the Stoner’s Pizza family as we embark on opening the brand’s first flagship store in the Atlanta Market. We will deliver delicious, fresh, and custom-made pizzas, wings, and desserts with some unique ingredient options.”
Stoner’s Pizza Joint is a delivery-focused concept. Its delivery and off-premises dining contribute to around 50% of total sales.
Stoner’s Pizza Joint chief concept office Nick Bergelt said: “2019 was an exciting year for Stoner’s Pizza Joint with the launch of our new branding and accelerating our franchise program with the addition of strong multi-unit franchisees. Stoner’s Pizza Joint offers fresh food prepared in-house daily with proprietary recipes for the pizza dough, sauce, and cheese blend.
Its menu items include a variety of speciality pizzas, calzones, strombolis, sandwiches, hickory-smoked chicken wings, fresh prepared salads, chocolate chip cookies and desserts.
Set up in 2013, Stoner’s Pizza operates 13 locations in the US.
