American fast casual restaurant chain Taco Cabana (TC) is set to further expand its restaurant footprint with a new location in Spring, Texas.

Opening on 14 June 2024, the new Taco Cabana restaurant is located at 22340 Kuykendahl Road.

The Mexican-inspired restaurant brand is also set to unveil its next-generation TC 3.0 building prototype.

Its sleek design spans 2,541ft² and features a 375ft² patio.

TC added that its new prototype’s streamlined footprint integrates double merging drive-through lanes, a convenient walk-up window and a dining area.

The new kitchen arrangement has been designed to maximise efficiency and output.

In April 2024, TC expanded its menu with a new Tortas lineup across all locations in Texas, US.

From 1 May, the new menu offered breakfast, lunch, and dinner Tortas options [a Mexican sandwich], Loaded Fries and a new partnership with Jarritos for margaritas.

The breakfast Tortas is served on a layer of refried beans topped with pico de gallo and shredded cheese. Lunch and dinner Tortas came with a choice of carne asada, steak fajita or chicken fajita, along with refried beans, shredded lettuce and pico de gallo.

Its new Loaded Fries include a Carne Asada option topped with queso, sour cream, guacamole and pico de gallo and a Chili Cheese option served with queso and chilli con carne.
