The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf, a US-based café chain, has expanded its menu in the US with the introduction of four new summer beverages for 2024.

The new offerings combine the textures and flavour of boba pearls and matcha.

The nationwide launch follows a successful pilot phase in 2023. The new coffees and teas will be available for a limited period, until 20 August 2024.

The Iced Brown Sugar Latte with Boba is a fusion of caramelised brown sugar, signature espresso and brown sugar boba pearls.

The Iced Ceylon Milk Tea with Brown Sugar Boba presents a modern twist on a classic, blending fragrant iced Ceylon Black Tea with caramelised brown sugar and brown sugar boba pearls.

The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf sources its matcha from the Japanese highlands.

From June to August, the chain is capitalising on the health benefits and visual appeal of matcha with two new layered beverages: the Iced Matcha Cream Strawberry Latte and the Iced Matcha Cream Mango Latte.

Iced Matcha Cream Strawberry Latte is a combination of the company’s matcha tea, layered with strawberry purée, whole milk and matcha cream cap.
