Subway has announced the return of its Honey Oat Bread after a four-year absence, available for a limited time across all US locations.

Concurrently, the sandwich chain has made its Creamy Sriracha sauce a permanent addition to the menu.

The sauce, known for its blend of red chilli flavour with a creamy texture, was previously offered in selected outlets.

Additionally, Subway has also introduced a special chip flavour in collaboration with Miss Vickie's.

The Baja Chipotle flavoured kettle-cooked potato chips are now available exclusively at Subway restaurants. The chip collaboration is a first for the sandwich chain.

Miss Vickie's Baja Chipotle flavoured chips combine their signature crunch with the bold smoke and spice that made Subway's Baja Chipotle sauce.

Subway Culinary and Innovation senior vice-president Paul Fabre said: “These latest upgrades to Subway's menu will delight any sandwich lover craving something with bold and unique flavour, whether it's light and sweet or bringing the heat.

“While our fans know and love our Honey Oat Bread and Creamy Sriracha sauce, I can't wait for them to see how we reimagined our signature Baja Chipotle Sauce in our partnership with Miss Vickie's.”

Earlier this month, Subway launched a new range of lavash-style wraps in US restaurants.

This marked the brand’s first new bread option in three years.

Inspired by Middle Eastern cuisine, the lavash-style flatbread holds more ingredients than a standard wheat tortilla and has a soft, bubbling texture that can carry a footlong protein serving inside a six-inch wrap.
