Presto Phoenix, a developer of voice AI systems for quick-service restaurants (QSRs), has secured $10m in a financing round joined by investors affiliated with Remus Capital alongside other existing backers.

The capital injection follows increased adoption of the company’s Presto Voice solution, marked by extended rollouts across its existing client base and implementations with new restaurant operators.

Remus Capital’s John Tincoff said: “We are pleased to see Presto’s progress and are fully supportive of the company and its leadership.

“AI is digitalising the world, and we are now seeing clear tailwinds for QSR adoption to accelerate: the labour environment, the need to standardise best practices, and the realisation that without the data there is no way to keep up with agentic leaders.”

Presto intends use the capital to bolster its market presence in automated drive-thru voice technology, while scaling its rollouts, core technical infrastructure, and customer reach.

The company recently formed commercial partnerships with restaurant management platform Toast and AI developers including ElevenLabs and Bluejay.

Presto co-founder and CEO Krishna Gupta said: “Over the past several months, we’ve continued to prove that Voice AI can deliver meaningful results at scale across some of the most demanding drive-thru environments and menus.

“We are investing heavily in product and operations as we help more of the industry adapt to the inevitable agentic future.

“Every QSR brand is realizing they must increase digitalisation and standardization across their business, and Presto is the natural partner to help them do that for their largest channel – it all starts with Voice. I’m thankful to our investors for having backed us throughout.”
