Of the industry's total hiring activity, the highest number of new job postings were for Food Preparation and Serving Related Occupations, which accounted for 50% of the total new job postings in Q3 2023 and were down by 57% year-on-year. Second highest were Sales and Related Occupations, which accounted for 11% and rise by 29% year-on-year, and third highest were Management Occupations, which were 75% of the new job postings and 58% lower year-on-year.

The highest number of jobs were posted by AmRest Holdings with 4,187, followed by McDonald's with 45, while the highest increase was at Sodexo at 89%.
