Deliverect has partnered with loyalty and gift card provider DataCandy to help restaurant operators connect first-party digital orders with customer rewards.

The partnership connects Deliverect’s API-based, AI-enabled ordering platform directly to DataCandy’s loyalty engine.

This aims to give restaurants a single mechanism across their digital channels to recognise and reward guests.

Under the integration, first-party orders flowing through Deliverect – including from branded apps and websites, self-service kiosks and on-site point-of-sale terminals – are automatically matched to the relevant DataCandy loyalty profile.

This will enable customers to earn and redeem points in a consistent way across all owned ordering routes. At the same time, operators gain a unified view of guest behaviour and loyalty programme performance.

DataCandy direct sales vice-president Ben Jackson said: “Every first-party order is an opportunity for a restaurant to show a customer they are valued.

“By connecting Deliverect’s ordering platform directly to our loyalty engine, we’re helping operators turn their owned channels into the most personal, most rewarding way for guests to order.”

The integration is designed to remove operational steps that have traditionally hindered loyalty schemes. It will eliminate the need to manually align points between systems, as loyalty status is identified automatically at checkout, reducing errors and simplifying service.

By linking detailed transaction data to individual loyalty accounts, restaurants can also shift from broad, generic discounts towards targeted offers based on actual ordering patterns.

Deliverect North America partnerships head Don MacMillan said: “It’s a privilege to partner with a recognised leader like DataCandy, trusted by thousands of merchants to power their loyalty and gift card programmes.

“Loyalty only works when it’s effortless, for the guest and for the operator. This integration makes that possible across every first-party channel a restaurant uses.”

The integration is currently available to customers using both Deliverect and DataCandy.

Last month, ConverseNow partnered with Deliverect to fast-track the adoption of automated voice ordering.
