Canada-based ghost kitchens operator JustKitchen is expanding its footprint in Malaysia with two new locations in the country.

The company opened a ghost kitchen in the Glo Damansara Mall in Petaling Jaya (the PJ Location) in May. The second location is in Bukit Bintang and is expected to commence services later this month.

GrabFood, Foodpanda and Shopee Food will serve as delivery service partners for the new locations.

Additionally, JustKitchen has named Warren Wang as the managing director of its business in Malaysia. In the new role, Wang will be responsible for supervising the operations at the new locations and working to further develop the ghost kitchen business in the country.

The PJ Location shares the COOX Kitchens facilities, using two out of the company’s 26 stalls in the mall. The offerings from this location will initially include MrBeast Burger, Another Wing and BIT Beef Noodles.

The Bukit Bintang Location is situated near the commercial and tourist centre of Kuala Lumpur. The 3,400ft² facility includes a self-serve dining area, as well as the delivery and take-out service spaces.

It will also serve as JustKitchen’s headquarters for Malaysia.

Earlier this month, JustKitchen signed a royalty-based virtual kitchen services agreement with Cloud Retail Solutions to enter India. The ghost kitchens operator also made its entrance into Singapore earlier this year.
