Local Favorite Restaurants, a Texas, US-based platform restaurant operator, has purchased the Cotton Patch Café restaurant brand from Altamont Capital Partners.
Financial details of the deal have not been disclosed.

Founded in 1989 in Nacogdoches, Texas, by Larry Marshall and Michael Patranella, Cotton Patch Café serves “Texas comfort food” including chicken-fried steak, home-style sides and fresh-baked rolls.
The brand operates 46 restaurants across Texas and New Mexico.
Cotton Patch CEO Brandon Coleman III said: “With the Local Favorite team behind us, we are ready to bring Cotton Patch to more communities and write the next chapter of this amazing brand’s growth.”
Cotton Patch joins a Local Favorite restaurant portfolio that includes El Fenix Mexican Restaurant, Snuffer’s Restaurant & Bar, Meso Maya, Taqueria La Ventana and Wok Star Chinese.
Local Favorite’s restaurant brand portfolio also includes brands such as Campuzano Mexican Food, Twisted Root Burger Company and Village Burger Bar.
With this deal, Local Favorite Restaurants now controls 99 sites across ten brands.
Under the agreement, Coleman will take over as CEO of Local Favorite Restaurants, overseeing its Texas-based brands.
Mike Karns will continue as founder and free-range creative of Local Favorite Restaurants.
