US-based hospitality technology company Resy has completed the acquisition of restaurant reservations and recommendations platform Reserve.

The deal will strengthen Resy’s presence in the US restaurant reservation services market by expanding its network to 4,000.

Reserve currently has partnerships with various restaurant chains including Blue Hill at Stone Barns, Major Food Group, Rick Bayless Group, and Link Restaurant Group in these markets, which will be added to Resy’s platform.

Resy co-founder and CEO Ben Leventhal said: “The Resy team is excited to be partnering with Reserve and its community of amazing restaurants for this next step in our company’s evolution.

Reserve’s CEO Greg Hong and other employees will join Resy as part of the acquisition. Hong will stay with the company during the transition period.
