Sodexo has partnered with Automated Retail Technologies (ART) to introduce thousands of hot food robotic kiosks across its facilities in the US.

The partnership between Sodexo and ART combines global expertise with advancements in robotics and AI.

The newly developed Just Baked Smart Bistro kiosks are capable of producing a variety of food items such as giant cinnamon rolls, bao buns, and breakfast sandwiches at the touch of a button.

Rollout of these kiosks is currently underway at various Sodexo client sites, spanning diverse industries including healthcare, education, and corporate sectors.

In July 2023, Sodexo acquired AH Management, which specialises in office coffee and corporate dining services in the US.

As one of the largest convenience solutions operators in the Mid-West region, AH offers corporate dining amenities, which include micro-markets, vending machines and coffee service.

Sodexo noted that the deal will also allow it to extend the offerings of its convenience business arm InReach in the market.
