Drive-in restaurant Sonic Drive-In has expanded its menu with the launch of a new limited-time Brunch Burger available at participating locations across the US.
With more than 3,600 restaurants across America SONIC is part of the Inspire Brands family of restaurants.
Brunch burger is a made using a beef patty topped with cheese, crispy bacon, and a fried egg, and served on a bakery-soft brioche bun.
The restaurant chain is offering the new item with a side of medium crispy Tots for breakfast and lunch. It is priced at $2.99.
Sonic product innovation and development vice-president Scott Uehlein said: “As traditional meal times continue to shift and change, brunch has taken on a life of its own, allowing the mixing, matching, and harmonising of familiar flavours to create endless dishes.

In addition, the drive-in restaurant chain is offering the item in a bigger size, bigger brunch burger, available for $4.99.
Customers can also order a blend of SONIC’s classic cherry limeade mixed with orange juice to pair with the brunch item. They can also place orders online using the Sonic app.
In January this year, Sonic also launched Oreo A La Mode and Cinnabon Cinnasnacks A La Mode.
Oreo A La Mode features battered and fried Oreo biscuits, while the Cinnabon Cinnasnacks A La Mode is a flakey pastry with a cinnamon-flavoured centre. Both items are served with Sonic’s Real Ice Cream.
