The new location marks the company’s continued expansion in Ontario’s urban and suburban markets.

Happy Belly CEO Sean Black said: “Opening Heal in Woodstock marks another meaningful milestone in our Ontario expansion strategy.

“This location reflects our continued focus on expanding Heal into strong, community-oriented markets with favourable demographic and traffic fundamentals.

“Woodstock benefits from steady population growth, a growing commercial base, and a well-balanced mix of residents, commuters, and families seeking convenient, health-forward food options.”

The Woodstock launch comes shortly after Heal Wellness’ 40th location opened in Montreal’s Griffintown district.

The site is operated by an existing Happy Belly multi-unit partner.

Black added: “Heal Wellness continues to expand rapidly across Canada and into the United States, solidifying its position as a leading acai and smoothie bowl brand.

“With 41 locations now open and more than 167 in development, Heal remains a key driver of growth within Happy Belly’s broader portfolio of 686 contractually committed retail franchise locations across multiple emerging brands in various stages of development, construction, and operation.

“We continue to build a predictable and disciplined growth engine designed to create long-term shareholder value.”

Last month, Happy Belly exercised the option to acquire the remaining 50% interest in Pirho Fresh Greek Grill in Canada.
