Global fast food chain McDonald’s is testing two new cold brew coffees under its McCafé brand at 74 restaurants in San Diego, California.

The new offerings include the McCafé cold brew and McCafé marble cold brew, which are made using 100% Arabica coffee beans.

McDonald’s San Diego County franchise owner Jamie Straza said: “San Diego is a city full of coffee lovers, so it’s an ideal place to test our McCafé cold brew coffee.

“We were first in the country to test All Day Breakfast and we’re thrilled to continue bringing menu innovations to our San Diego customers.”

“These 100% Guatemalan coffee beans produce an extremely smooth, rich cold brew that isn’t too strong and isn’t watered down.”

McDonald’s is allowing customers to order the McCafé cold brew coffees with customised flavours such as French vanilla, caramel and hazelnut.
